Our client offers a Tier 1 subcontract machining service for some of the world’s most iconic brands. It has equipment to service components of varying size across a broad spectrum of materials. They are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Manager to join the business.
The Role
Key duties of the role but not limited to:
• Ensuring the QMS is kept up to date and regularly reviewed
• Ensuring internal and external audits are undertaken
• To induct of all new employees into the QMS and to adhere to company quality procedures as per QMS
• To carry out the implementation of AS9100
• That all updates to the QMS are communicated effectively
• Ensure technical problems are resolved as and when they arise
• To assist in any quoting activities as and when required
• Ensure written operating procedure is correctly followed, and carried out in line with the company policy
• To ensure any NCRs are communicated to the stakeholder at the earliest possible opportunity and work with the stakeholder to resolve as efficiently and effectively as possible
• To ensure that all investigations that are required are carried out efficiently and effectively in a timely manner
• That all outcomes of any investigations are communicated correctly to the stakeholder of the NCR; Customer, Supplier or Employee
• To ensure correct control and deployment of the allocated budget
• That CMM programs are secured correctly
• Ensure the management of calibration systems is effective and up to date
• To work with other employees to ensure quality and standards are maintained at all times
• To work flexibly where possible to support the business when needed
• To attend training as requested
• Ensuring H&S rules and regulations are adhered to at all times
The Candidate
• Experience within a similar Quality Management role is essential
• Strong organisation skills
• Able to build strong relationships with key members of the business
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail especially when adhering to procedures and company polices
• You will be a self-motivated individual with resilience and a positive disposition, a “can-do” attitude, assertiveness, and a high degree of determination to succeed.
