Leading the production activity, safe working and site efficiency drives, the Site Manager will play a pivotal role in the success of manufacturing operation producing safety critical products on a continuous shift basis. The role is permanent and on a days basis, Monday to Friday.
The Role
This is a newly created position to support a busy production operation in maintaining a well motivated, safely operating and successful site. The Site Manager will take responsibility for Goods In / Goods Out, manage the allocation of stock and materials, support the production planning team and facilitate a `right-first-time` culture. The Site Manager will drive continuous improvement throughout the site and ensure accurate record keeping and data flow is maintained. The Site Manager will promote a `safety-first` culture and ensure that good housekeeping/5S is practiced throughout the site.
The Person
The successful applicant for Site Manager will possess a number of years experience within production/operational management of a plant, site or business unit and be conversant with profit & loss data, accurate production/stock records and current health, safety and environmental legislation. The Site Manager will ideally be well versed within modern quality standards including ISO9001 and ideally ISO13485.
