An exciting new opportunity working for this hugely successful business based in North Essex. Initially offered on the basis of a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, this hugely important position will report to the Board and be responsible for identifying and setting up a Manufacturing and Supply Chain facility overseas. The remit will encompass: evaluating countries for investment; making recommendations on optimum location; Develop & deliver an agreed project plan to agreed timescales; build strong working relationships with government bodies, suppliers & manufacturing partners; develop financial models to support recommendations; manage the set up of the new company in the chosen country; and help deliver new factories that are both fully operational and profitable.
To succeed in this challenging role will require extensive experience in international Supply Chain and manufacturing with a track-record of delivery in a similar role. With strong commercial and financial acumen, you will possess outstanding negotiating and problem-solving skills and be able to work autonomously. Excellent communication skills are essential with high levels of credibility and gravitas to operate at a senior level a pre-requisite.
