A growing food manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager role, based in Chalgrove, Oxfordshire. You will play a key role in the business, translating the sales forecast into a demand plan, and also manage logistics to customers.
The Role
• Ensure the business has the right stock in the right place and time
• Translate the sales forecast into a demand plan
• Manage shelf life and logistics to minimise wastage
• Process customer orders and arrange logistics
• Be the customers main supply chain contact
• Work closely with customers on orders, deliveries and forecasts
• Run reports and analyse the true cost of logistics, making sure we stay within budget
• Manage one direct report in the supply chain team
The Candidate
• Will have 5+ years experience within a supply chain function, ideally within the FMCG industry
• Have working knowledge of stock control, demand planning, inventory levels and logistics management
• You will be a strong Excel user, able to create and analyse reports
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• An ambitious person who is eager to develop and grow with a food challenger brand!
• You will live a commutable distance from Chalgrove, Oxfordshire
• Previous food & beverage manufacturing experience, within a planning role
