Are you a Transformation Programme Manager with a proven track record in leading facility transformation to maximise efficiencies across multifunctional teams?

As a Transformation Programme Manager you will be charged with supporting the client’s journey to transform its Manufacturing footprint by establishing a Transformation office within Manufacturing. At present there are many plants throughout the world, each with their own culture and operating processes. The Manufacturing Transformation Office is striving to ensure that high standards and consistent best practice is developed and implemented within each of the plants that will enable the client to reach their goal of Manufacturing ‘Best in Class’, transforming the business operations to realise their ambitious growth plans.

The Transformation Programme Manager will define a robust process for an Integrated Business Plan and ensure its roll out and implementation across the Manufacturing functions. Key inputs for this role are the Global Manufacturing Strategy roadmaps and the Model Plant standard master schedule, and the output is a detailed transformation business plan by functional area detailing the key initiatives to be implemented from now to 6 years’ time that will enable the manufacturing organisation to achieve Best In Class levels of performance, both financially (Cost per Unit, Freight) and non-financially. The manufacturing transformation business plan will be fully aligned with the company Cycle Plan and Business Plan, and it will be updated every year. The role will involve significant interaction with and influence of all the Manufacturing functions especially through the Business Excellence Managers community.

You’ll have a degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering related subject alongside significant experience within manufacturing, business planning, programme and project management. Experience from an OEM is desirable or transformation within a large global manufacturer. An ability to influence and be credible with senior leaders is essential, as well a continuous improvement mind set. You’ll need to show confidence and agility in working within a matrix organisation.

Experience from an OEM is desirable or transformation within a large global manufacturer. An ability to influence and be credible with senior leaders is essential as well as having a passion for lean manufacturing systems and a continuous improvement mind set.
