bott develops new hygiene solutions in answer to the global pandemic

In response to the Coronavirus outbreak, bott has turned its design and manufacturing expertise towards providing solutions to help employers meet new health & safety guidelines in the workplace – creating a range of products to promote best hygiene practice and social distancing in warehouses, factories, hospitals and schools.

Having temporarily closed its own UK facilities at the beginning of the lockdown period, bott utilised this time to review its own processes to prepare and implement new working practices for a safe re-opening. With a worldwide reputation for developing high-quality workplace storage solutions and with a 400 strong employee base in the UK, bott was well placed to innovate a new bott Care range.

The recent advice from the UK Government for factories, construction sites and schools to re-open for business, leaves many businesses with the critical task of hardening their facilities to reduce any risk of infection from the virus. With regular hand washing and social distancing being key in this challenge, flexible and mobile solutions that can be used directly in the workplace are in high demand.

Nick Smith, CEO at bott UK, said: “As the UK economy gradually moves forward, creating safe working environments for employees, customers and children will be front and centre for all businesses looking to re-open their premises. We’ve been able to quickly develop the new bott Care range during this pandemic, specifically to answer these challenges, helping to provide confidence for other business owners and reassurance for their employees at this unprecedented time”.
